Development of Sound Absorbing Recycled Nonwoven Composite Materials

Abstract The Sound absorbent textile materials, especially nonwoven composite structure of reclaimed materials which have low manufacturing costs, relative density and are more attractive. In this research the use cotton polyester fiber for production sound absorption has been investigated. Three different blend ratios fibers that is 25:75, 40:60 50:50 used. composites specified their physical properties, such as thickness, areal density, bulk porosity characteristics in frequency range 250HZ-2KHZ. values coefficient noise reduction acquired signifies holds excellent behavior entire range. Before compressed cotton/polyester 25:75 with greater lower seen to give performance while using provided air gap behind composites.
